Overview
This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") is part of the Terms of Service and applies to everyone who visits the site, uses our tools, or purchases a product or service. Violating this AUP may result in suspension of access, cancellation of orders, deactivation of a Pro license without refund, and in serious cases referral to law enforcement.
Prohibited conduct
You may not use CipherForces to:
- Violate any law, regulation, or third-party right.
- Infringe copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, publicity, or privacy rights.
- Upload or print content that is defamatory, harassing, hateful, threatening, discriminatory, or incites violence.
- Upload or print child sexual abuse material, terrorist content, or any material the possession or distribution of which is illegal in your jurisdiction.
- Misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person or organization, or forge headers.
- Create counterfeit or fraudulent documents, including paystubs, invoices, or receipts intended to deceive (the Paystub and Invoice generators are for legitimate record-keeping only).
- Produce contracts designed to mislead the other party, or use the Contract Generator to present yourself as offering legal services.
- Use AI features to generate resumes, cover letters, or other documents containing fabricated employment, credentials, or achievements you do not actually have.
- Engage in phishing, credential harvesting, or the distribution of malware.
- Interfere with, overload, probe, scan, or attempt to bypass the site's security or rate limits.
- Reverse-engineer our license-cookie signing, bypass usage quotas, or circumvent the Pro paywall.
- Scrape, crawl, or automate access beyond what normal browser usage implies.
- Use the site to build or train a competing product (AI training, model distillation, or bulk dataset extraction).
- Resell, sublicense, or white-label the tools or services without a written agreement.
- Run content that glorifies violence against identifiable individuals, or that promotes self-harm.
Print-specific rules
When you upload artwork for printing, you must have the right to print every element:
- Copyrighted images (including stock photos beyond your license tier) require permission or a paid commercial license.
- Brand logos and registered trademarks may only be printed by the owner or an authorized reseller.
- Fonts must be licensed for commercial use and for embedded print output.
- Counterfeit currency, government seals, stolen credentials, or forged IDs may never be printed.
- We may request proof of license before accepting an order and may cancel any order we believe infringes third-party rights.
See the DMCA & Copyright Policy for takedown procedures.
Wedding-site rules
Wedding sites may contain only content about your event and your own personal photographs or photographs you have the right to use. Do not use a wedding site to publish unrelated content, advertise commercial services, or host files for third parties.
Fair-use limits and automation
Browser-based tools are subject to per-IP rate limits to ensure availability. Attempting to bypass those limits — including by rotating IP addresses, using headless browsers, or scripting batch jobs — is a violation of this AUP. If you have a high-volume legitimate need (e.g., you want to process thousands of PDFs), email sales@cipherforces.com and we'll discuss a fair-use arrangement.
AI features
When using optional AI features (bring-your-own-key), you agree to comply with the terms of the underlying provider (OpenAI or Anthropic). Do not use CipherForces as a proxy to circumvent those providers' usage policies.
Reporting a violation
If you see something on CipherForces you believe violates this AUP, email abuse@cipherforces.com with details. We investigate all reports and respond when action is taken. Copyright-specific concerns should go to dmca@cipherforces.com (see DMCA).
Enforcement
We may take any action we consider appropriate for a violation: removing content, canceling orders without refund, suspending the Pro license, blocking IP addresses, reporting to law enforcement, and recovering damages. We aim to be fair and proportionate.
